Verified data shows a 17.4% year-on-year cut in total greenhouse gas emissions, building on our 2024 recognition as a LowCarbonSG Awardee.

Primech A & P has been awarded the LowCarbonSG Gold Award, presented by the UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS) in partnership with ESGpedia, in recognition of measurable, verified reductions in our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The award builds directly on our recognition as a 2024 LowCarbonSG Awardee, and reflects sustained progress rather than a single year’s effort.

Unlike sustainability awards based on stated commitments or intentions, LowCarbonSG recognition is grounded in actual, submitted emissions data verified through the CERT calculator. For us, that meant putting real numbers behind the initiatives we’ve been reporting on — fleet electrification, solar power, and energy-efficient operations — and showing they translate into a measurable year-on-year decline in carbon output.

The Numbers Behind the Award

Comparing our two most recent reporting periods (April 2024–March 2025 versus April 2025–March 2026), our total GHG emissions fell from 115,479.41 kg CO2e to 95,353.16 kg CO2e — a reduction of about 17.4%.

  • Scope 1 (mobile combustion/company vehicles): down 31.7%, from 43,494.97 kg CO2e to 29,695.44 kg CO2e — the clearest evidence yet that our shift to electric vehicles is paying off.
  • Scope 2 (electricity from the grid): down 8.8%, from 71,510.70 kg CO2e to 65,189.76 kg CO2e, supported by our rooftop solar installation and energy-efficient fixtures.
  • Scope 3 (purchased goods and services — water): down 1.2%, from 473.74 kg CO2e to 467.96 kg CO2e.

The steepest improvement came from Scope 1, which tracks emissions from our own vehicle fleet. This is a direct result of replacing diesel-powered operational vans with electric vehicles and installing EV charging infrastructure at our headquarters — a transition we first wrote about as part of our 2024 LowCarbonSG recognition.

Why This Matters for Our Clients

For building owners, facility managers and procurement teams, this is independently structured, verifiable evidence — not a claim — that a facilities and cleaning partner can reduce its environmental footprint without compromising service delivery. As more organisations set their own Scope 3 targets, being able to point to a supplier’s verified emissions trend, rather than a general sustainability statement, is becoming a genuine differentiator in vendor selection.

What’s Next

We’ll continue reporting our GHG performance year over year, with a particular focus on further reducing Scope 2 emissions through expanded solar capacity and continued energy efficiency upgrades across our sites. We also plan to extend more granular emissions tracking to a wider set of client locations as part of our broader sustainability roadmap.

About LowCarbonSG

LowCarbonSG is an initiative of the UN Global Compact Network Singapore (UNGCNS), delivered in partnership with ESGpedia, recognising companies that demonstrate measurable, verified progress in reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions over a defined reporting period.
